Included in the kit is a live Rose of Jericho (Selaginella lepidophylla), also known as the Resurrection Plant.
This remarkable plant has the ability to revive itself from a desiccated state when exposed to water. Watch it come to life as it unfurls its green fronds!

Spray Bottle for Collecting Water:
The kit includes a convenient 10ml spray bottle and funnel.
Use the spray bottle to collect the Rose of Jericho water when changing and cleaning the dish.
The collected water can also be sprayed around your home for a touch of natural fresh energy.

Usage:
Plant Care:

Add included pebbles to the cast iron dish.
Add water to your dish -keeping the water level just above the pebbles.
Place the Rose of Jericho in the cast iron hands dish.
Observe as the plant unfurls its fronds and comes back to life.
The Rose of Jericho unfolds entirely within 24 hours.
The depth and intensity of its green color varies based on the duration without water.

With each repetition of the process (caring for it for 3 weeks , the Rose of Jericho will darken its green hue more rapidly.
Once a month for 7 days, let it dry out completely

Change the water for your Rose of Jericho daily to every other day to keep it clean.

The trick to preventing overwatering and root rot in Rose of Jericho is to give it water-free rests. Pick one day a week to drain the dish completely and let your plant rest. You can leave it in the dry dish or take it out. Simple!

Every month, give your Rose of Jericho a week without water to dry out a little bit. Choose the same week every month to make this easy. Simply drain the dish and leave the plant on the pebbles, or remove the plant completely and put it in a darker place.
